Carskey Chung

Co-Founder & Lead Engineer

With prior FTC experience and a deep passion for mechanical engineering, Carskey leads our design and build efforts. His expertise in CAD design and mechanism development ensures our robot is both innovative and competition-ready. He's committed to building a team culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Kavan Vyas

Co-Founder & Lead Programmer

Kavan brings extensive programming experience in Python and Java to the team. With a passion for autonomous systems and computer vision, he leads our software development efforts. His vision is to make KCLMS FTC a powerhouse in programming excellence, developing cutting-edge autonomous routines that give us a competitive edge.

Team Structure

Five specialized teams working together toward victory

⚙️ Mechanical Team

Our mechanical engineers design and build the physical robot, from chassis to complex mechanisms. They work with CAD software, machine tools, and hands-on fabrication to bring innovative designs to life.

💻 Programming Team

Software engineers developing autonomous routines, computer vision systems, and teleoperated control. They write the code that brings our robot to life and gives us a competitive edge.

💰 Finance Team

Managing budgets, tracking expenses, and securing sponsorships to fund our team. They ensure we have the resources needed to build a competitive robot and attend competitions.

🌍 Outreach Team

Engaging with the community through school visits, workshops, and social media. They spread the excitement of robotics and inspire the next generation of engineers.

🎮 Controls Team

Robot drivers and operators who master teleoperated control during competitions. They develop strategies, practice driving, and execute game plans to maximize our scoring potential.
