Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers
Beyond competition, we're committed to inspiring younger students and our community to explore STEM through hands-on robotics. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their potential in engineering and technology.
We bring our robot to local primary and secondary schools for interactive demonstrations. Students get to see the robot in action, ask questions, and learn about robotics competitions.
Introductory robotics workshops for KS3 and KS4 students, teaching basic programming, mechanical design, and problem-solving through hands-on activities.
Public robot demonstrations at KCLMS open days and community events. Anyone can come see our robot, meet the team, and learn about FTC.
Supporting other rookie FTC teams by sharing our knowledge, resources, and lessons learned. We believe in growing the FTC community together.
Making a difference in our community
How our team came together to support our robotics journey
In a remarkable display of community spirit and entrepreneurship, our team organized a bake sale at King's College London Mathematics School to raise funds for our FTC robotics program.
Team members spent hours baking delicious treats—from brownies and cookies to cupcakes and cakes—all to support our journey to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge. The response from students, teachers, and staff was overwhelming!
Through the generosity of our school community, we raised significant funds that will directly support:
This event demonstrated not only our team's dedication but also the incredible support from the KCLMS community. Every brownie sold brings us one step closer to our goals!
Are you a teacher or school administrator interested in bringing KCLMS FTC to your school? We'd love to inspire your students with a robot demonstration or workshop!
